Donald Joseph Qualls - better called DJ Qualls - is a actor, model, and producer from America. The actor gained fame following his performance as a character in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred in 20 feature films, such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. He has also appeared in over 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. Qualls has survived Hodgkin's lymphoma. The first time he was diagnosed when he turned 14 years old. The cancer relapsed after two years. But, early treatment had severe effects on his health and stunted development. When he first started to make decisions, financial security was the ultimate objective. He had been in poverty throughout his youth. When I've lived in such a shabby way over the years, I must have this level of financial assurance. Otherwise the world seems to be beyond my control. The man also recalls his early years to help him stay motivated. He says "Cruelty is a snare to my heart." DJ's ideal role is to play a father figure in reel and in actual life. He does however admit that directors don't usually choose him for these kinds of roles. One day he'd love to have a kid to allow him to devote much less of his time in order to spend more time with the child.
